THE HISTORY OF THE (Bharatiya Janata Party) BJP LOGO
The history of the BJP logo is a bit complicated. The party had been
using the Lotus symbol for years, but it was only in 2013 that it decided to
give it a face.
The original design of the logo was done
by Nalin Chopra, who is also the party's national vice-president.
The first design had the Lotus in a
blue background, but the party felt that it looked too much like the
Congress symbol.

BJP LOGO |
In 2014, the BJP decided to change its
color from saffron to lotus, to reflect the change in the party's
ideology.
The lotus is the national flower of India and is also considered to be one of the most
auspicious symbols in Hinduism.
It has been traditionally used as a
symbol of purity, beauty, and fertility.
The BJP also used the lotus as its election symbol in the 2014 general
election.
The BJP has adopted a lotus as its
official logo. It is a flower that blooms in clean and dirty water.
“The lotus is a flower that blooms in all
kinds of waters, whether it is clean or dirty. Similarly, the BJP has emerged
as a strong political force in all parts of India irrespective of caste and creed.”
WHAT IS THE SYMBOL OF BJP?
The BJP
(BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY) symbol is represented as a Lotus flower.
It is
the identification of BJP Party members or workers or you can say lover of BHARATIYA
JANATA PARTY.

THE HISTORY OF BJP (BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY)
Along with the
Indian National Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party is one of India's two
major political parties.
As of 2016, it is
the country's largest political party in terms of representation in the
parliament and state assemblies.
The BJP is
a right-wing party, with close ideological and organizational links to the
Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
PRONUNCIATION OF BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY
[bʱaːɾət̪iːjə dʒənət̪aː paːrtiː]
The Bharatiya Jana
Sangh, founded in 1951 by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, is the BJP's forerunner.
After the State of
Emergency in 1977, the Jana Sangh merged with several other parties to form the
Janata Party; it defeated the incumbent Congress party in the 1977 general
election.
The Janata Party
disintegrated in 1980 after three years in power, with elements of the former
Jana Sangh reuniting to create the BJP.
Although it was
originally unsuccessful, winning only two seats in the 1984 general election,
the Ram Janmabhoomi movement helped it grow in strength.
Following
victories in several state elections and better performances in national elections, the BJP became the largest party in the parliament in 1996.
However, it lacked
a majority in the lower house of parliament, and its government lasted only 13
days.
Following the 1998
general election, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) formed a
one-year government led by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Following new elections, the NDA
government, once again led by Vajpayee, became the first non-Congress
government to serve a complete term in office.
The NDA was defeated in the 2004 general election, and the BJP became the main opposition party for the next 10 years.
Long time Gujarat
Chief Minister Narendra Modi led it to a landslide victory in the 2014 general
election.
Since that
election, Mr. Modi leads the NDA government as Prime Minister and
as of August 2018, the BJP is the party with the single-largest support in the Lok
Sabha, with 282 seats.
The BJPis a member
of the center-right European People's Party, the globalist and reformist lobby
in the United Nations, and is an observer member of the Progressive Alliance.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE BJP LOGO?
I like
the lotus, which is a symbol of purity. The BJP has been very clean in
its work and I think it's the only party that can bring about change in India.
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT THE BJP?
I don't
like the fact that there are many different groups within the party. I think
it's important to be united and I would like to see a single face of the BJP.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT NARENDRA MODI?
I think
he is a good administrator. He has been able to get the country moving and
people are happy with him.
I have
heard that there is corruption in Gujarat, but I don't know about it.
WHERE CAN I FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ON THE BJP LOGO?
The BJP
has an official website, www.bjp.org, which contains information on the party
and its policies. You can also visit the BJP’s social media pages on Facebook
and Twitter to get more information about the party.
THE SECRET FACTS OF THE LOTUS FLOWER
WHY IS LOTUS CALLED LOTUS?
The
Lotus flower is one of the great symbols of Asian culture. The
lotus flower is a beautiful symbol of purity and beauty.
The
lotus flower grows in muddy water, but its roots never touch the mud. This
represents the way that we should live our lives: always striving to be better,
but never letting our emotions get the best of us.
The
lotus flower is also a symbol of rebirth and transformation. It
begins as a seed in the mud at the bottom of a pond, and then it grows up
through the mud and into the sunlight.
WHY IS THE LOTUS FLOWER OUR NATIONAL FLOWER?
The
lotus is the national flower of India. It is also the state flower of West
Bengal, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Kerala.
The
lotus has been used in art and culture for centuries. In Hinduism, it is a
symbol of purity and divinity. It is also associated with the goddess Lakshmi,
who is believed to be the goddess of wealth and prosperity.
The
lotus has been used in many ancient Indian artworks, including temple
architecture, painting, and sculpture. It is also found in the arts of China,
Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, and Vietnam.
Finally,
the lotus flower is a symbol of purity. The Buddhists believe that it is
one of the few flowers that can grow in pure water, and so it represents a
state of spiritual purity.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
The
lotus. It is not the BJP's symbol. The party's symbol is the 'BJP' written in the Devanagari script. The lotus is the symbol of NDA, which includes other parties
like Shiv Sena, Shiromani Akali Dal, LJP, and so on. The lotus is also the
symbol of NDA in other states," said a senior BJP leader.
"The
idea behind using the lotus as the party's symbol was to show that the party
was clean and not corrupt," he said.
"It's
not a flower you can buy at the market."The party's current symbol is a
flower with a face, but Mr. Wong said the lotus was more appropriate.
